El Navegante de Punta Veleros House & Villas
El Navegante is located in the best place in Punta Veleros.
We were the first to arrive and we had the vision to choose the most protected place from the wind, thanks to the great hill of Punta Los Órganos. This feature makes El Navegante de Punta Veleros the only windless place on the entire north coast of Peru.
We seek to offer a unique experience, while you can relax and enjoy activities in the ocean and its surroundings, always inmerse in nature.
El Navegante House & Villas has different properties:
• La Casa del Navegante (18 maximum guests).
• La Villa del Navegante (20 maximum guests).
• Flat las Tortuguitas (16 maximum guests).
• Casita Colibrí (5 maximum guests).
• Loft Chilalo (4 maximum guests).
The History
The Navigator was a character who sailed the seas and told us that there was a bay that on its southern side had a very high hill that protected the beach from the wind. It was so in 1978 we went out in search of that place. We found it and settled in the best place, right in front of the waves of “Organitos”. In this paradise, every day we saw the picturesque artisan sailboats return with their catch, so we decided to call it “Punta Veleros”, a name that the area adopted. Today we have renovated the house and we have called it “El Navegante”, in memory of the character who told us about his travel experiences… my father.
